| Thailand is famous for its tasty food and its white, sandy beaches that are offered by this interesting country. Thailand is bordered by the Andaman Sea on the west and the Gulf of Thailand on the east so you will have plenty of room to dive, snorkel or simply to rest upon the beach of this tropical country in Southeast Asia. Thailand is divided into five separate states with the capital of Bangkok in the Central Plains region. Although you are not allowed inside the palace which is named Klai Kangwon you can enjoy the outside gardens and paths during certain hours. Thailand is also a great place to enjoy the outdoors. The tropical climate makes the country a great place for visits to the beaches which line the lower portion of the country nicely. Thailand has some amazing beaches although you may find that some of them are crowded in the hotter seasons of the year. Golf has become a popular sport in Thailand especially in the resort villages along the southern coasts. If you want to enjoy the oceans firsthand then you can participate in the diving and snorkeling activities that are offered in most of the towns and villages along the coast of Thailand.
